Terms and Conditions

General Giveaway Information:

1. Entry Period: The giveaway starts on 14th August and ends on 1st September 2024. All entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM AEST on the end date.
2. Eligibility: Open to Australian residents aged 18 and over. Employees of Ledlenser and their immediate families are ineligible.
3. Draw Process: Winners will be selected at random by Zen Imports. The first draws will be for the family admission tickets, and the last two draws will be for the exclusive giraffe photoshoots.
4. Notification: Winners will be contacted via Instagram direct message. If a winner does not respond within 48 hours, a new winner will be chosen.

Family Admission Tickets:

1. Non-Refundable: Tickets and passes are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
2. Non-Transferable: Tickets and passes are non-transferable to another person or third-party resale.
3. Lost/Stolen Tickets: Treat tickets as cash; lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced.
4. No Upgrades: Tickets are not eligible for annual pass or 2-day entry upgrades.
5. Accompanied by an Adult: Children aged 14 years and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
6. Validity: Ticket has no expiry date and is valid on any trading day.

Giraffe Snapshot Experience:

1. Entry Requirement: Entry to Australia Zoo is not included. Valid entry is compulsory for all encounters.
2. Compliance: All participants, including children, must follow instructions given by handlers. Participants must understand English or have a paying, participating interpreter.
3. Refusal of Participation: Australia Zoo reserves the right to refuse any person for health, safety, or other reasons. Participants may be asked to cease the encounter at the handler’s discretion.
4. Accessibility: Some encounters may require special assistance. Inform staff of mobility issues when booking.
5. Weather Policy: Encounters are subject to weather conditions. Encounters may be rescheduled or cancelled at the Zoo’s discretion.
6. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations within 48 hours result in a 50% forfeiture of the payment. Non-attendance or late arrival forfeits the fee.
7. Personal Items: No personal items, food, cameras, or backpacks are allowed. Small cameras may be permitted in some cases.
8. Animal Interaction: All interaction with animals will be under the handler’s direction. Do not touch animals’ heads or faces unless directed.
9. Liability: Australia Zoo is not responsible for any injuries or damages incurred during the encounter.
10. Allergies: Inform staff of any allergies before the encounter.
11. Media: Participants may be filmed for media purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your image and voice without compensation.
12. Recording Devices: Recording devices are not permitted during direct interaction with animals.
